The Rev. Dow Sanderson to Good Shepherd, Summerville
Bishop Adams has named The Rev. M. Dow Sanderson as priest-in-charge at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Summerville effective July 1. He will succeed the Reverend Alastair Votaw, who has served as Good Shepherd's priest-in-charge since October 2013. Fr. Sanderson has served most of his 31 years of ordained ministry in South Carolina, having been rector of Church of the Holy Communion since 2001. He will retire on June 18, but is eagerly looking forward to continued ministry in the Episcopal Church in South Carolina. Dow currently serves as President of the Standing Committee and is a Trustee of Nashotah House Theological Seminary. He and his wife Fiona have two sons Noah (and wife Sarah) and Nick. The Rev. Jon Coffey to The Episcopal Church in Okatie Bishop Adams has appointed the Reverend Jon Coffey as priest-in-charge at The Episcopal Church in Okatie. Fr. Coffey recently completed a year of service as interim at St. Mark's, Port Royal. He and his wife Julie moved to Beaufort in 2015 after his retirement from St. Mark's Episcopal Church and Day School in Jacksonville, Florida. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and raised in Miami, Florida, he is a graduate of Goddard College and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. The Rev. Jean McGraw stepping down from St. Francis, Charleston The Rev. Jean McGraw has announced that she will be stepping down at St. Francis, Charleston on June 11. Mtr. Jean started the congregation in March 2013 with a group of lay leaders. She and her husband, the Rev. Stan McGraw, are looking forward to a quiet summer in North Carolina. Comments are closed.
