Representatives gather once a year to conduct the business of the diocese as required by our Constitution and Canons. These representatives, called "delegates," are laypeople elected by their parishes and missions, as well as clergy who are canonically resident and serving in our diocese. From time to time, Special Conventions are called for specific business, such as electing a Bishop.
Annual Conventions are a two-day event, typically beginning on Friday and concluding on Saturday. Worship, discussion, workshops, the Bishop's annual address, as well as food and fellowship – these are all part of this "family reunion" of Episcopalians in our region. Many of our Episcopal institutions and related organizations and ministries also attend as exhibitors. Non-delegates are welcome to register and attend as visitors.
